Kids College Fridays offers hands-on activities in art, science, culinary arts, technology, and more. Students attend from 8:00 AM-3:30 PM and participate in two instructor-led classes each Friday, with time for lunch and outdoor recreation. Please bring a packed lunch, snack, and water bottle.

Discover how to create professional-looking portraits in this engaging six-week course. Students will learn camera equipment, exposure settings, composition, lighting techniques, and posing methods that help subjects look natural and confident. The course also explores effective communication with clients and models, along with basic editing techniques to enhance portrait images using Adobe Photoshop. Through guided practice and hands-on assignments, participants will gain the skills and confidence to photograph individuals, families, and friends in a variety of settings. No camera is required for this course. Instructor Corey Dunigan is a professional photographer, entrepreneur (owner of Camera Coach), and certified teacher with more than 15 years of classroom experience.

Learn to photograph outdoor sports with confidence in this practical, hands-on course. Students will explore camera equipment, exposure settings, autofocus techniques, and composition while photographing tennis, baseball, softball, and soccer. Instruction focuses on capturing peak action, telling the story of the game, and producing sharp, dynamic images in changing outdoor conditions. Participants will also learn the fundamentals of editing sports photographs using Adobe Photoshop to prepare images for print and digital use. Beginners are welcome, and no camera is required for classroom participation. Join instructor Anna Pineda of Vida y Danza and learn the basics of Mexican Folklórico dance. This class introduces movement, cultural history, and English-Spanish vocabulary in a fun, age-appropriate setting. Designed for ages 7-12, no prior dance experience is required. Comfortable clothing and tennis shoes required. Additional materials will be reviewed. There may be an opportunity to perform in the community as well! Acompañe a la instructora Anna Pineda de Vida y Danza y aprenda los conceptos básicos del baile folclórico mexicano. Esta clase introduce movimiento, historia cultural y vocabulario en inglés y español en un ambiente divertido y apropiado para su edad. Diseñada para edades de 7 a 12 años, no se requiere experiencia previa. Se necesita ropa cómoda y tenis. Materiales adicionales serán revisados. Tal vez habrá una oportunidad de presentar en la comunidad!(Ages 7-12)
