Are you a congregational or community leader who desires to connect more effectively with people affected by mental health challenges? Join Meg Wallace, MA, LMSW, and other expert presenters from the Amberley Collaborative to learn about creating an environment in which everyone fully belongs. Session topics will include accompanying congregants through times of struggle, discerning appropriate lay and professional roles, accessing local professional services, confidentiality and information sharing, responding to individuals displaying suicidal ideation, understanding caregivers' experiences, and self-care for helpers. Each session will include both teaching and extended discussion time, allowing participants to process what they're learning in the context of their congregational settings.
