The Dental Assistant Program at McLennan Community College provides students with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on training needed to enter the dental profession with confidence. This intensive program combines classroom instruction, laboratory practice, and clinical experience to prepare students for a variety of dental office responsibilities, including chairside assisting, infection control, radiography, dental materials, and patient communication. Graduates are eligible to sit for the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners licensing examinations and will be well-prepared for employment in general and specialty dental practices. Whether starting a new career or advancing in the healthcare field, MCC's Dental Assistant Program offers the tools and training needed to succeed in this high-demand profession.
