Students will taste a selection of red wines from different regions, learn how to observe and describe them. and pair them with meats and cheeses. Instructor Jenny Douglas will educate students about these wine regions and varieties, as well as discuss pairing food and wine. Students will finish this course with the skills they need to confidently approach basic red wine selections and tastings.

Discover how to select and combine the best cheeses with the appropriate assortment of meats for your own charcuterie board. Students will learn the ins and outs of the board-making process from instructor Courtney Watson, including the do's and don'ts of fruits, edible flowers, and more! Snacks will be provided as you will be able to enjoy what you create and take home what's left as it comes on a pumpkin-shaped board.
The class will meet in MCC's residential-style kitchen. Class will start at 6PM; however, the doors will be open starting at 5:45 for students to come in and prepare their areas. Registration for all culinary courses close at 5 p.m. the day prior to class. Sorry, no refunds.
