Teresa Clayton, a local independent and expert gardener, will teach you the fundamentals of gardening in this two-day workshop. She will educate you on how to prepare an area so that you may create your garden, review the seedling process, and how to care for your garden in our high-heat environment.
If available space is restricted, students will have the opportunity to learn about organic and container gardening. The class will meet at the Highlander Education Garden at the Highlander Ranch, 223A Cobbs Ln. A supply list will be provided upon registration. Supply List: Gardening Gloves, Hand Tools (small shovel, spade and rake), a bottle of water, and a Kneeler if you'd like for your knees.
