Are you interested in agility training for your dog, but need some foundations first? Pre-Agility Training is for you! This class, in partnership with Waco Agility Group (WAG), will provide the basics of agility, such as obedience, ground work, socialization, and low level introduction to agility equipment. Dogs should be able to be around other dogs without reacting in a negative manner, and be comfortable on a leash. Aggressive dogs will be asked to leave. The class will meet at Brazos Valley Boarding, 5327 Old Lorena Rd.
Please note classes are subject to the weather and may have to be rescheduled at times. Dogs must be at least 11 months old.

This beginning course, offered by local canine experts at K9mutt Training, teaches the basics of obedience training and helps you better understand your dog. No two-family dynamics are the same, so you'll learn the best training methods for you and your dog. This course is for family dogs, shelter and rescue dogs, and special-needs families. You must provide instructor Sandy Wittliff with current shot records at the first class. The class will meet at MCC's Highlander Ranch, 223A Cobbs Ln.
Students must provide current shot records for their canine at the first day of class. Vaccines must include Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, and Rabies. After initial puppy vaccinations, the canine will receive boosters every three years. The class will meet at MCC's Highlander Ranch, 223A Cobbs Ln. Waco, TX. Drive through the ranch and make a slight yield to the right. Follow the signs to the Veterinarian Tech building. The speed limit at the ranch is 15 MPH. Be courteous of those walking their horses and others on the path.

The Lunch with the Master's program is a service offered to the community by the McLennan County Master Gardeners. This course provides education, discussion, and networking centered around local gardening. Topics include introduction to the care of landscapes, installation, care and maintenance of plants and landscaping, insect and disease control, composting, and more. The class meets the third Wednesday of each month at the Emergency Service Center, 7601 Steinbeck Bend Dr.
Please note that lunch is not provided during this class. If you wish to bring a snack or beverage, please be sure to clean up your area upon exiting. Additionally, the Master Gardeners begin setting up at 11 a.m., but you are not required to arrive at that time.
