Build strong reading skills with Reading Specialist Michelle Biller. Designed for students in grades 1-3, this targeted intervention uses the evidence-based Orton-Gillingham Approach to strengthen phonics, fluency, spelling, and comprehension through multisensory, individualized instruction. Lessons are tailored to each child's needs to build confidence and independence as readers. Instruction is provided in small-group settings based on student needs. Students will complete an assessment before the course begins, and class meeting times will be scheduled after assessment results are reviewed.

PHTC_1004_35 - Corey Dunigan

Learn the fundamentals of photography while developing the skills needed to capture memorable yearbook images. This six-week course introduces camera operation, composition, exposure, and storytelling through photojournalism. Students will practice photographing school events and everyday moments while learning techniques for creating images that document a story. The course also includes an introduction to Adobe Photoshop for basic photo editing and image enhancement. Through hands-on activities and instructor guidance, participants will build confidence behind the camera. No camera is required-equipment will be provided for classroom use. Instructor Corey Dunigan is a professional photographer, entrepreneur (owner of Camera Coach), and certified teacher with more than 15 years of classroom experience. (Ages 11-16)

Students will learn foundational techniques such as color mixing, shading, perspective, and basic handbuilding methods like pinching and coiling while creating hands-on projects in a supportive, creative environment.
