Missy Kittner There are currently 3 out of 8 spots remaining.
Missy Kittner is a certified Water Safety Instructor and Trainer. She loves teaching babies, toddlers, and adults to swim. She first took swimming lessons at the age of 3 and failed to learn to swim. She persisted and by the age of 11 was swimming competitively; by the age of 15 became a lifeguard; and later went on to coordinate the Learn-to-Swim program for the City of Richardson for 7 years. She is patient with each student knowing that through her anyone at any age can learn to swim.

In this camp, instructor Missy Kittner will continue swimming training emphasizing primary skills such as floating on the front and back, beginning swimming on the front and back, rhythmic breathing, and treading water. Safety is paramount in every skill that the children will learn. This camp is for kids ages 6-14.
NOTE: The required liability waiver from Columbus Avenue Baptist Church must be completed.
Wear your swimsuit and bring a towel. Goggles are optional. Students will meet at the CENTER of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church, 1115 Columbus Ave. You can fill out the waiver online by using the Online Form. Alternatively, you can fill out the Printable Form and bring it to class."

This is a family cooking class for all those aspiring kid chefs and their parents/family. This is a one-day workshop for kids and their loved ones to share time together making tasty, healthy meals as a pair while sampling food. At the end of this course participants will be able to take the cooking techniques they learned, home, to prepare healthy and fun meals with their families. Participants will also learn the importance of making mealtimes a family affair to promote healthy eating patterns and diet choices.

Come join Rachel Esquivel in this one-day workshop for all youth grades 3 through 12 who want to learn how to master the art of cookie decorating. Participants will learn how to make their own frosting combinations for cookie decorating as well as piping techniques and craftsmanship. After this course participants will take home cookie decorating techniques that can be used for any occasion.
